Kyle is the founder and operating director of Forestwerx. Kyle is a native to the mountains of Evergreen Co and first learned to fell trees as a teenager working on his parents horse property. He founded Timberline Sawyers LLC, Forestwerx parent entity, in 2020 after neighbors sought his assistance with a fire mitigation project following the Elephant Butte Fire. Word quickly spread about the expertise Timberline Sawyers was providing and the company was soon servicing residential contracts across the font range. Timberline Sawyers became known as Forestwerx in 2022 as the company grew to service commercial, municipal, and institutional contracts. Kyle has a BS in ecology from CU Boulder and has 15 years of professional emergency services experience, with 10 years as a career urban interface firefighter, and 4 years in executive fire service management. Kyle is the founder or co-founder of several other successful businesses in the Evergreen CO area and continues to support these ventures as an investor or advisor. Kyle resides in the Bergen Park area of Evergreen with his wife and children.
